Job summary

Culinary Khancepts is seeking bartenders to deliver warm, elegant service at our Houston venues, including the Mayahuel concept. You will craft cocktails, recommend drinks, handle transactions, and maintain a polished bar area.

We value hospitality, flexibility, and strong communication. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in fine dining or upscale casual settings, a Food Handler’s card, and the stamina to stand and lift up to 25 lbs while ensuring memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1+ year experience in fine dining or upscale casual hospitality.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Flexible availability based on restaurant needs.
• Food handler’s card as required by local/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide full bar service, including craft cocktails, wine, and beer.
• Engage with guests to assess preferences and offer personalized recommendations.
• Maintain a welcoming, professional presence behind the bar.
• Ensure proper ID verification and alcohol service compliance.
• Handle payments accurately and responsibly.
• Keep your bar station clean, organized, and prepped for service.
• Maintain inventory, prep lists, and contribute to a collaborative service team.
