Loews Vanderbilt Hotel’s Masons at West End is seeking a Bartender with passion for crafting signature cocktails and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a bustling, upscale setting.

You will mix beverages to spec, greet guests, handle orders, and maintain a pristine bar. Prior bartending experience and knowledge of cocktails, glassware, and safety regulations are required; corporate benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required.
• Bartending experience is highly preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of alcohol service regulations (TIPS or local/state) or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and guest preferences.
• Create and recommend unique cocktails tailored to guest tastes.
• Greet and engage guests with a warm, welcoming attitude and provide personalized service.
• Take drink orders from guests and servers; answer questions about menu options.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area and set up bar at start of shift.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking; report shortages.
• Follow safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations; verify guest IDs; enforce responsible service.
• Collaborate with servers, barbacks, and kitchen staff for smooth service.
• Attend mandatory trainings; perform other duties as assigned.
