Job summary

Hilton Tempo Nashville is seeking a Bartender to craft cocktails and provide exceptional guest service in our lively food & beverage team. You will greet guests, take orders, maintain bar cleanliness, restock supplies, and ensure responsible alcohol service in a fast-paced, high-volume environment near Music Row.

Minimum 1 year experience, high school diploma, bartending certification preferred; POS proficiency and knowledge of drinks required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation; understanding of responsible alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to standard recipes.
• Greet and engage guests, take orders, and provide recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including counters, equipment, and glassware.
• Restock liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
• Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).

Experience

Knowledge

• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Skills & Knowledge
