Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for excellent communication skills, serving classical cocktails, greeting customers, answering questions, and recommending menu items. The role also involves requisitioning stock and maintaining cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify stock levels and ensure proper stocking and cleanliness of the stand.
• Serve orders efficiently using POS and credit card systems.
• Check IDs to serve only guests of legal drinking age.
• Encourage safe drinking and transportation options.
• Use new cups for each beverage.
• Complete sanitation worksheets and alcohol incident logs as needed.
• Recount and verify stock, enter end counts into POS, and tally sales.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area.
• Requisition stock for upcoming events.
• Report tips earned via the time clock.

Essential Duties

• Stand for long periods and actively engage with guests.
• Reach with hands and arms during shifts.
• React promptly in emergencies.
• Demonstrate stamina and agility to stay mobile.
• Lift/move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Transition easily between sitting and standing.

Job Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Washington State Food Handlers Permit and Class 12 MAST Permit required.
