Job summary

Loews Hotels Universal Orlando is seeking a Bartender to join our iconic resort team. You will take orders, prepare beverages, and provide exceptional guest service at the bar, with opportunities to upsell and contribute to a high-volume operation.

Experience in cocktails, bar tools, and alcohol service regulations is required. This outdoor-capable role requires strong organization and the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food and beverage setting is required.
• Bartending experience highly preferred.
• Knowledgeable in cocktail recipes, bar tools, drink preparations, and alcohol service regulations.
• Ability to perform duties outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proven experience working in high-volume Food and Beverage operations preferred.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Ability to regularly push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally with team members, leaders and guests required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Take orders and serves guests at bar.
• Provide upsell opportunities to guests to enhance the dining experience and increase overall check average.
• Inventories all beverages and operating supplies, orders replacement items as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
