Job summary

Aramark in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a Bartender Lead for LSU Athletic Venues and Events to deliver exceptional service from first pour to final tab. You will oversee bar setup, coaching staff, and ensure accurate cash handling during busy game-day operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years full-service bartending, a TIPS certification, strong product knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining hospitality, accuracy, and teamwork throughout events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years full-service bartending experience.
• Extensive knowledge of sophisticated mixed drink recipes and restaurant point of sales computer systems.
• Must be TIPS certified.
• Good communication and social skills. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with emphasis on customer service, basic math and counting skills.
• Ability to pour mixed drinks and draft beer.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to ring alcoholic sales on a register.

Responsibilities

• Check patrons' identification to ensure minimum age for alcohol.
• Prepare needed set-up for bar.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of the bar.
• Accurate cash sales and cash handling.
• Close out checks after payment.
• Assist in setup and teardown of bar equipment.
• Serve and/or sell alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Maintain a cheerful demeanor on duty.
• Inventory stand sheet items and initial bar paperwork.
• Calculate cash at end of shift and return bank to cash room.
• Open/close duties as assigned by supervisor.
