Job summary

DeSano Pizzeria's Bellevue location is hiring a Cashier/Bartender to take orders, prepare and serve beverages, and maintain a clean, friendly front-of-house. Prior experience is helpful but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.

The role involves greeting guests, processing payments, serving beer/wine/cocktails, and ensuring compliance with alcohol laws while delivering outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced pizza concept.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, bartending, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of beer, wine, cocktails, and bar operations is a plus.
• Mixology or hospitality certifications are welcomed but not required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong time management and teamwork abilities.
• Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcoholic beverages.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and take food and beverage orders.
• Operate the cash register and process payments accurately.
• Prepare and serve beer, wine, and select cocktails.
• Make beverage recommendations and provide excellent customer service.
• Verify legal drinking age and follow all state and federal alcohol service laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and front-of-house areas.
• Restock bar supplies, ingredients, and service items as needed.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and mopping.
• Ensure smooth and accurate handoff of guest orders.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service team members.
