Proof of the Pudding, a culinary leader for over four decades, is expanding into the greater Dallas area. We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage team at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer service and creating a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for both pre‑ and post‑bar set‑up and break‑down.
- Sets bar up in a timely manner.
- Communicates well with bar back during the event to assist with replenishment during shift.
- Greets all guests and provides exceptional customer service.
- Attentive to guests’ needs throughout the entire event.
- Cleans bar after closing and discards excess ice.
- Places all items back in bar box as originally received.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Customer service or food service experience (preferred).
- Enjoys interacting with students in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Comfortable commuting to Dallas, TX.
- 2+ years of bartending experience.
- Team player and phenomenal communicator.
- Experienced in preparing mixed drinks.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- TABC Certified.
- Extremely hardworking and organized.
- Exceedingly responsible and accountable.
- Maintains good grooming and personal hygiene.
- Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.

Work Environment
Bartenders will work out of and report to our team at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens. This position works often with food equipment, will be in and out of coolers and freezers, and traversing different types of flooring.
Uniform Requirements
Adherence to Company Uniform Requirements outlined in the Associate Handbook and orientation guidelines. Non‑slip shoes are necessary.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing, moving through a limited space, and walking on various surfaces.
- Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as, but not limited to, lifting approximately 30 lbs.
