Bartender (Full-Time) - Embassy Suites Austin Downtown South Congress

Position Overview:

A Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages and/or food to guests, ensuring outstanding guest service and contributing to the hotel's financial profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously
• Mix and garnish beverages according to standard recipes and portion controls
• Serve beverages and food to guests
• Check IDs and serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with laws and regulations
• Handle payments accurately using the point-of-sale system, process credit/debit cards, and manage cash and vouchers
• Stock and maintain the bar supplies, including alcohol, glassware, and condiments
• Ensure the quality and safety of beverage perishables
• Respond professionally to guests who are intoxicated, as needed
