Job summary

King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott in Hawaii is hiring a full-time Banquet Bartender to deliver aloha spirit and memorable guest experiences. You will manage all aspects of the bar area, serve beverages, and maintain setup and clean-up throughout shifts.

Requires at least one year of bartending experience, High School diploma, and Micros knowledge. TB clearance and English proficiency are required; competitive benefits accompany this role.

• Micros knowledge preferred.
• TB clearance card required.

Responsibilities

• Wait on guests courteously and efficiently while crafting and serving beverages.
• Set up and stock bar for shifts, maintain storage areas, and clean/sanitize equipment.
• Process cash and card transactions per house policy.
• Stock garnishments, mats, mixers, ice and bar tools; assist manager with stock.

Rate of Pay: $28.79/hour

Opportunity Awaits on the beautiful Island of Hawaii... King Kamehameha Kona Beach Resort Courtyard by Marriott currently has an opening for a talented Full Time Banquet Bartender to share the aloha spirit and strive to create a memorable guest experience.

Brief Summary of Job: Responsible for all aspects of the bar area, including courteously and efficiently waiting on guests while crafting and serving beverages, setting up and stocking product for shifts, maintaining storage areas, and cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining equipment, utensils and tools.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times, while providing personalized service to guests.
• Communicate effectively with guests and fellow team
• Cheerfully wait on guests, make recommendations and up
• Create and serve
• Responsible for designated section and accurately collecting and completing payment for
• Process all cash and charge transactions according to house
• Stock side station with garnishments, bar mats, mixers, ice and jiggers.
• Assist Food and Beverage Manager with stocking beverages and mixes.
• Stock beverages and mixes for next
• Close checks and run reports at the end of
• Maintain clean bar tables, chairs, stools and counter surface at all
• Adhere to food safety
• Report any missing/found articles or equipment/property damage to the Housekeeping

Knowledge/Education/Experience: Must meet minimum age for preparing and serving alcoholic beverages. Minimum one (1) year of bartending or related experience in a full-service restaurant or Hotel F&B outlet required. High school or equivalent education. Micros knowledge preferred. Ability to operate a computerized point of sale system (Micros). TB clearance card required.

Skills/Abilities/Other Requirements : English speaking or bilingual. Operate cash register. Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations. Ability to prioritize, organize and make good judgments. Dependable.
