Omni Tucson National Resort & Spa is seeking a friendly Bartender for Legend's Bar & Grill. You will deliver prompt, courteous service, mix drinks accurately, and maintain knowledge of beverages while engaging with guests in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least one year of bartending experience, the ability to stand for long shifts, and basic MICROS skills. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential.

Formación

• At least 1 year of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Effective communication with guests and team members.
• Basic computer/MICROS knowledge required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Must have AZ Food Handler & Responsible Beverage Service certification upon hire if not already certified.

Overview

This position delivers prompt, friendly, courteous service to guests, ensuring that all orders for guests and servers are done accurately and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers.
• Have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers, and wines.
• Upsell and suggestive sell of both food and beverage to guests.
• Requisition and restock bar with all essential products and equipment.
• Observe and adhere to all liquor liability laws.
• Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is served only to those patrons of the legal drinking age.
• Monitor the intake of alcohol of guests, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated.
• Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Must be able to communicate effectively by telephone and in person.
• Must have basic computer/MICROS knowledge.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Previous cash handling experience is required.
• Must have valid AZ Food Handler & Responsible Beverage Service certification upon hire if not already certified.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment providing courteous service and engaging guests in conversation.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends and holidays.
