Job description

Looking for a Bartender/ Food Service Crew Member to join our evening hospitality team at Maple Tree Inn in Sunnyvale, CA, US. We seek a server with a positive attitude, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creating a fun experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet guests and provide outstanding service throughout hospitality hours.
2. Beverage preparation, responsible serving, and verifying customers’ ages.
3. Ensure regulatory compliance by adhering to all local and national liquor laws.
4. Verify in-house guests and charge beverages accordingly.
5. Set up a hospitality room with a bar.
6. Heat up and replenish appetizers.
7. Replenish and serve alcohol.
8. Assist with guest requests and questions.
9. Communicate with the Front Desk to update charges.
10. Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation.
11. Manage the bar register.
12. Complete all relevant checklists during shifts.
13. Perform any other tasks as requested by the Guest Service Manager.

Qualifications:

1. Friendly, energetic, and welcoming personality.
2. Legally entitled to serve alcohol and possess a CA Responsible Beverage Service Alcohol Server Certificate.
3. High school diploma or equivalent.
4. Motivated team player with strong communication skills.
5. Prior experience as a bar server preferred.
6. Food preparation skills and love of meal planning are a plus.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
8. Basic numerical skills (counting, adding, subtracting, etc.).
9. Willing to work Monday to Thursday evenings.

Compensation:

$19.50 - $21 hourly + Tips DOE
