General Hotels Corporation is seeking an experienced Bartender for the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel in Viera, FL. The Bartender will take orders, create and serve drinks, serving food to guests dining at the bar, and ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a friendly and outgoing personality with knowledge of cash handling and food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Bartender, with extensive knowledge of drink preparation and service.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm and professional.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take their orders.
• Provide recommendations and answer questions about drinks and menu items.
• Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Ensure garnishes are prepared ahead of opening.
• Maintain the bar and keep it clean and organized.
• Keep bar supplied with snacks.
• Verify legal drinking age by checking IDs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by checking in with customers.
• Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff for timely order delivery.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
