Job summary

Capital City Club in Downtown Atlanta is seeking a full-time bartender to provide premium beverage service to members and guests. The role emphasizes a non-tipping environment with a competitive guaranteed wage and on-site perks, including meals and uniforms.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of bartending experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays within a private club setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Two years of bartending experience; private clubs a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in the basic point-of-sale system; NorthStar experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock bar daily and maintain organization and cleanliness; prepare mise en place before opening.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently per recipes.
• Operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• Maintain beverage and revenue control procedures.
• Complete other assignments as needed by supervisor.
• Collaborate with other teams to exceed member expectations and deliver premium service.
• Provide exceptional food and beverage service to members and guests; ensure satisfaction.
• Follow opening/closing procedures and complete daily checklists; work with some independence.

JOINING OUR TEAM

We are currently looking for bartenders. Applicants for this position should be seeking full‑time employment and have open availability. These positions provide our members and their guests with exceptional beverages and services – an extraordinary experience.

Capital City Club is a non‑tipping environment. We offer a competitive guaranteed wage which allows our staff to focus on providing our members with premium‑level service. Staff members enjoy a complimentary employee meal for each shift worked. Parking, work uniforms, and uniform laundering are all provided on‑site at no cost. Annual performance review, employee recognition program, and summer and holiday employee appreciation events are but a few things we do for our team. Lastly, staff members have an opportunity to become T.I.P.S. certified at no cost, which is a highly recognized training course in the hospitality field that focuses on various issues specifically related to serving alcohol. It is valid for three years upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Stocks bar daily and maintain organization/cleanliness. Prepares all mise en place before the bar opening


• Prepares and serves alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages with accuracy and efficiency, upholding Club standards and adhering to recipes


• Works in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment with minimal supervision


• Attends all staff meetings, including pre‑shift sessions and training as required


• Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures


• Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by supervisor


• Works closely with multiple teams and teammates to fulfill and exceed member expectations


• Provides excellent food and beverage service to members and guests, always ensuring satisfaction


• Follows daily opening/closing procedures completes daily checklists and executes day‑to‑day operations relatively independently
