Job summary

LBA Hospitality is hiring a Bartender to join its on-site team in the Saint Augustine area. The Bartender will prepare and serve beverages, provide courteous service, and maintain a guest-ready bar.

Responsibilities include following recipes and laws, processing payments, managing inventory, and assisting with food preparation when needed. On-site shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum age to serve alcohol.
• At least one year of food-and-beverage experience preferred.
• Hotel/restaurant/chain experience preferred.
• Food-handler and responsible alcohol-service certifications preferred at hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to recipes, brand standards, and guest requests.
• Verify identification and follow all applicable alcohol-service laws and company policies.
• Provide menu and beverage recommendations while promoting featured items.
• Accurately process charges, payments, and gratuities using the applicable point-of-sale system.
• Maintain bar supplies, liquor inventory, cleanliness, and sanitation standards.
• Complete opening, closing, cleaning, stocking, and other assigned side work.
• Assist with food preparation, service, and storage when required.
• Respond professionally to guest questions or concerns.
• Follow food-safety, alcohol-safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain required responsible alcohol-service and food-handling certifications.
• Perform other related duties within the associate’s training and capabilities.
