Competitive compensation of $6.00 per hour is offered.

Job description

Position: Bartender at OKANA Resort & Indoor Water Park, located along the Oklahoma River in the vibrant Horizons District near downtown Oklahoma City.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily.
• Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu.
• Accurately take orders, confirming all special requests.
• Be the master of the bar, understanding details to enhance conversation.
• Work collaboratively with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy.
• Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.
• Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits.
• Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control.
• Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest.
• Lock up and store all beverages, food, and other equipment items, deposit cash drops, and secure the bank.
