The Hyatt Regency La Jolla is seeking a Bartender to deliver exceptional service in Drift restaurant. You will welcome guests, craft cocktails, and recommend beverages while maintaining a clean, attractive bar.

This role emphasizes guest interaction, creativity, and adherence to safety standards. Ideal candidates have bartending experience, knowledge of current state guidelines, and flexibility to work afternoons, evenings, weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willing to obtain a California Food Handler Card within 30 days of hire.
• Willing to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide libations and customized recommendations at Drift restaurant.
• Maintain an attractive bar and provide excellent service.
• Ensure adherence to state/local serving guidelines and sanitation standards.
