Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a bartender for the Virginia Guesthouse at the University of Virginia. You will greet guests, craft beverages, and guide guests through the drink menu with warmth and efficiency.

Requirements include 2–4 years of bartender experience, current certification, and the ability to work nights and weekends in a fast‑paced setting. Base pay starts at $10 per hour plus tips, with training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and move about the bar area.
• Maintain proper bar setup and stock daily.
• Describe menu items and guide guests through drink selections.
• Take orders accurately and process payments.
• Mix, garnish, and present drinks following recipes.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen/bar staff to ensure service quality.
• Ensure guest concerns are resolved to satisfaction.
• Close checks and secure cash and bar assets.
