Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts seeks a full-time bartender for our Riverwalk property in San Antonio. You will serve guests with hospitable care, maintain bar stock, and ensure accurate cash handling and POS transactions. A strong focus on guest experience and beverage preparation is required.

Hotel experience is preferred, with a need to communicate well with guests and uphold state and company standards for alcohol service. Attractive benefits and a supportive team culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Hotel/FOOD & BEVERAGE industry experience preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and POS use.
• Manual dexterity for garnishes, glassware and bar prep.

Responsibilities

• Maintain bar setup and stock per daily projections.
• Prepare, garnish, and serve drinks per standard recipes.
• Greet guests and document orders; promote and upsell beverages.
• Handle cash, balance transactions, and POS entries daily.
