Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and taking beverage orders.
• Informing customers about new beverages and specials.
• Knowledge of menu items and preparation methods to answer questions.
• Mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages.
• Check IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Provide responsible service of alcohol per laws.
• Manage inventory and order supplies for bar and tables.
• Handle cash and balance the cash register.
• Educate coworkers on bar vocabulary.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
