Job summary

The Ballantyne, A Luxury Collection Hotel in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced bartender to deliver exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, prepare cocktails, manage cash, and maintain bar standards, while staying knowledgeable about wines, spirits, and beers.

This role emphasizes guest experience and teamwork within our Food & Beverage department. Candidates should have bartending experience, strong communication, and a valid alcohol service

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bartender or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages (spirits, wines, beers).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid alcohol serving certification (if required by local regulations).

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate drink orders and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Prepare a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages adhering to standard recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area and stock inventory.
• Process payments and operate the point-of-sale system.
• Follow liquor laws, verify age, and ensure a safe environment.
