Job summary

The Harpeth Hotel in Franklin, TN is seeking a bartender to set up, mix drinks, and serve guests while upholding bar standards and safety policies.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 months of beverage service experience, can mix cocktails and provide wine service, read and speak English, and can stand for extended periods. We offer benefits and hotel discounts along with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three - Six months experience in food/beverage services.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English.
• Able to mix cocktails correctly and provide wine service.
• Manual coordination to punch buttons and carry trays.
• Must observe safety guidelines and state liquor laws.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 20–40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Make and serve drinks following established guidelines and safety controls.
• Provide cordial, efficient, professional guest service.
• Check IDs to confirm drinking age and process payments.
• Keep liquor pars stocked and complete requisitions as needed.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and assist with side work per schedule.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
