Job summary

White Lodging is hiring an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team. You’ll craft cocktails, deliver guest-focused service, and thrive in a high-energy, upscale setting across premium hotels and rooftop bars.

We seek candidates with knowledge of cocktails, mixology techniques, and a passion for hospitality. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required; prior hotel/rooftop/bar experience is a plus, with training available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred, hotel, restaurant, or rooftop bar backgrounds a plus.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Strong guest service mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests, building connections through conversations and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and complete daily cleaning and side work to health standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of full cocktail menu, beers, wines, garnishes, and preparation methods; answer guest questions confidently.
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation meets guest expectations.
• Process payments (cash, card, digital) and perform end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment.
• Monitor responsible alcohol service and comply with liquor laws.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests -- building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere


• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards


• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes -- confidently answering guest questions


• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time


• Accurately process all payment methods -- cash, card, and digital -- and complete end-of-shift reconciliation


• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment


• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance


• Perform other duties as assigned
