Job Description
The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional service to both internal and external customers. This role involves providing beverage service to guests and cocktail servers at Belterra Casino Resort, ensuring excellent customer relations.

• Deliver superior customer service, positively engaging with customers and coworkers, and handling difficult situations with resilience.
• Manage company funds and equipment responsibly.
• Pour drinks according to recipes; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Ensure compliance with “Project 21 – Minors in Casino.”
• Demonstrate product offerings and ordering procedures.
• Monitor and maintain proper par levels of supplies at the bar.
• Report any issues or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
• Secure and accurately handle the assigned bank, accountable for overages and shortages.
• Open and close the bar following established procedures.
• Supervise and provide work direction to bar attendants.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mixing a wide variety of drinks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of bar equipment operation.
• Ability to supervise cocktail servers.
• Must obtain and maintain required licenses/certifications per federal, state, and gaming regulations.
• Indiana ABC Liquor License required.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

The position typically requires completion of an accredited bartending course or two years of high-volume cocktail service experience, preferably in a hotel or casino setting.
