Job Description
The Bartender is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. This includes serving beverages to guests and cocktail servers at Belterra Casino Resort while ensuring excellent customer relations.

• Provide outstanding customer service, positively engaging with customers and coworkers, and handle difficult situations with resilience.
• Maintain company funds and equipment responsibly.
• Pour drinks according to recipes and keep the work environment clean and safe.
• Ensure compliance with “Project 21 – Minors in Casino.”
• Demonstrate product offerings and ordering procedures.
• Monitor supply levels at the bar.
• Report any issues to the supervisor.
• Manage the security and accuracy of the assigned bank, responsible for overages and shortages.
• Open and close the bar following established procedures.
• Supervise bar attendants as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ability to mix a wide variety of drinks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of bar equipment operation.
• Ability to lead cocktail servers.
• Must obtain and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications per regulations.
• Indiana ABC Permit (Liquor License) required.
• Previous bartending experience required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

The position typically requires completion of an accredited bartending course or two years of high-volume cocktail service experience, preferably in a hotel or casino environment.
