Position The Bartender is responsible for making, mixing and pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. A Bartender provides friendly, cheerful, attentive, and timely service to create an exceptional experience for all guests. Functionally reports to the Restaurant Manager and instructs the Barback. What You'll Do ENSURE A HIGH-QUALITY OPERATION • Prepares drinks, serves wine, bottle beer and draft beer. • Follow all company cash handling procedures • Interact with guests, takes orders and serve drinks. • Maintains a clean, organized and sanitary bar that meets both company as well as Department of Health standards • Complies with all Liquor Authority standards • Stores, labels and dates all fruit and perishable items according to policy • Prepares items on production sheets for the barbacks to pull and stock • Completes all waste logs as required • Performs other duties as required or assigned

Requirements

Qualifications • Basic Knowledge of Beer and Wine • Excellent Communication Skills • High school graduate or equivalent preferred Job Requirements • Availability to work a flexible schedule often including nights, weekends and holidays • Ability to remain stationary for periods up to 8 hours in length • Ability to reach, bend, stoop and exert well-paced mobility • Ability to use draft, wine keys, cash registers and POS Systems
