About

Located in the gorgeous, new expansion of Westfield Topanga, Topanga Social offers over 50,000 square feet of space for dining, drinking, socializing, and shopping. It features a variety of eateries, bars, lounges, and outdoor options, catering to diverse tastes and preferences.

Position

The Bartender is responsible for preparing, mixing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. They provide friendly, attentive, and timely service to ensure an exceptional guest experience. The role reports to the Restaurant Manager and supervises the Barback.

Essential Functions

• Prepare drinks, serve wine, bottled beer, and draft beer.
• Follow all cash handling procedures.
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve drinks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bar that meets health standards.
• Comply with all Liquor Authority standards.
• Store, label, and date all perishable items.
• Assist in stock preparation for barbacks.
• Complete waste logs as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of beer and wine.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to remain stationary for up to 8 hours.
• Physical ability to reach, bend, and exert mobility.
