Qualifications

• Proven experience as bartender or barista with 2–5 years, with references.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques and health & safety standards.
• Cash handling and inventory management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, cocktails, and specialty drinks.
• Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting beverages and meals based on preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Manage cash register operations and process transactions accurately.
• Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service and compliance with state and licensing regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless guest experience.
• Stay informed about new drink recipes, trends, and techniques to enhance service quality.

Paid Sick Leave (Colorado)

Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), Urban Egg provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location: Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Team members earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.
