Makeready LLC's Bar Sprezzatura at the Heathman Hotel in Portland, OR is seeking a Bartender who will craft impeccable cocktails and deliver warm hospitality in a lively, high-volume setting.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in fine dining or casual fine dining, extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer, and a passion for educating guests and leading peers. You will stand for long periods and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years’ experience in a fine dining or casual fine dining high volume bar or restaurant.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Expansive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer.
• Experience in beverage recipe development and staff education.
• Ability to move and lift 40 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver impeccable cocktails and warm hospitality to guests at the bar.
• Create an engaging guest experience and tell the Bar Sprezzatura story.
• Educate and mentor fellow beverage team members to maintain high standards.

What you bring to the table:
