Job summary

White Lodging is seeking an experienced bartender to join our hotel bar team. You will craft cocktails, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and thrive in a high-energy, upscale bar environment across premium hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants.

We value an outgoing personality, sharp attention to detail, and teamwork. Prior bartending experience is preferred, with training available for the right candidate. Shift flexibility includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Outgoing, social personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Willing to train the right candidate; prior bartending experience preferred in hotel/rooftop/bar settings.
• Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and responsible alcohol service practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality bar service; build personal connections with guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station and follow health and safety standards.
• Know the full cocktail menu, beer, wine, ingredients, and garnishes; answer guest questions confidently.
• Ensure food and beverage quality and presentation meets guest expectations.
• Process payments (cash, card, digital) and complete end-of-shift reconciliation.
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment.
• Card guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice.

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality bar service to all guests - building personal connections through friendly conversation, intuitive drink recommendations, and a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain a clean, organized bar station; complete daily bar cleaning and side work to health and safety standards
• Demonstrate expert knowledge of the full cocktail menu, beer and wine selections, ingredients, preparation methods, and garnishes - confidently answering guest questions
• Ensure consistent food and beverage quality and presentation that meets guest expectations every time
• Accurately process all payment methods - cash, card, and digital - and complete end-of-shift reconciliation
• Promote teamwork and contribute to a safe, positive work environment
• Card all guests and monitor responsible alcohol service to prevent overservice and ensure liquor law compliance
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Ability to stand and move at a fast pace for extended periods; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
