Position Summary

A Bartender provides hospitable service, crafts specialty cocktails, and creates an excellent guest experience from entry to departure. The role may involve advanced knowledge as a mixologist or sommelier, and includes assisting with growing the beverage program and supporting daily operations.

Reports To:

Guest Experience Manager and Assistant Guest Experience Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

• Interact with guests in a welcoming, personable, and professional manner.
• Take orders and prepare alcoholic beverages and food items.
• Present bills, accept payments, and operate the POS system.
• Remain calm while addressing guest concerns and complaints.
• Restock and replenish inventory during the shift.
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations and procedures.
• Understand daily store operations; hold keys for opening and closing if needed.
• Follow opening and closing procedures with Experience Managers when they are absent.
• Be a collaborative team member and empowered decision-maker.
• Ensure guests’ five senses are satisfied: appealing aromas, clean tables, tasty drinks, great music, and a vibrant atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, Education, and Experience

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Flexible schedule with daytime and evening shifts.
• Eagerness to learn and expand beverage knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Effective time management to handle a busy environment.
• Ability to lift, stand, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to handle cash and operate the register.
