Job summary

Evans Hotels operates the Catamaran Resort Hotel & Spa in San Diego, seeking an experienced Bartender to deliver high-quality beverage service at the bar and lounge. You will work on-site in a Polynesian-themed setting, mixing and serving drinks with professionalism.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
• Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
• San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire; Evans Hotels will provide training.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and serves food and drinks in an efficient and courteous fashion with a smile.
• Notifies leadership of any guest comments or service issues.
• Takes food and beverage orders in a friendly manner with a positive attitude, utilizing suggestive selling.
• Mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, following standard recipes.
• Secures payment / tabs for all drinks prior to preparation and service.
