Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly Bartender for our Food and Beverage team at Le Méridien Chicago - Oakbrook Center in Oak Brook, IL. You will serve beverages and light meals to guests in a courteous, timely manner and help maintain a welcoming bar atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of bartender experience, valid Food Handler and TIPS certifications, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of bartender experience.
• Food handler and TIPS certification (or equivalent) required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for hospitality and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and/or food to guests in a friendly, courteous, timely manner.
• Prepare beverages for other servers and act as cashier for the bar.
• Maintain bar setup and stock all beverages and supplies.
• Garnish and present drinks, manage perishables and fruit garnishes daily.
• Handle cash/credit transactions via POS and document each guest order.
