Job summary

Cheeky\'s Fish & Raw Bar on Central Ave in St. Pete is seeking a bartender who thrives in a fast, friendly, high-volume environment. You\'ll greet guests quickly, follow drink specifications, and keep the bar stocked and clean while collaborating with the service team and management.

Nights and weekends are common; full-time preferred with at least 4 shifts per week. Growth paths include moving into Bar Lead as you demonstrate excellence and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bartending experience in a high-volume setting.
• Food handler's certification.
• Working knowledge of spirits, beer and wine.
• Comfort on a busy POS.
• Ability to stand, move and lift 25 lbs for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet every guest at the rail inside 10 seconds.
• Maintain consistent drink specs; same drink Tue and Sat.
• Process service-wwell tickets in order.
• Assist with prep and ordering to keep the bar stocked.
• Keep bar top, wells, sinks and machines clean.
• Label and date every item in the fridge.
• Support the next shift and communicate with the team.
• Collaborate with service team and manager to drive service and sales.

Cheeky's Fish & Raw Bar - Bartender

Cheeky's is a friendly neighborhood seafood restaurant on Central Ave in St. Pete. Award winning burgers, caesar salad and the best happy hour in town. Oysters, lobster rolls, frozens. A horseshoe bar, a patio that watches Central, a tight-knit crew that's better together. A local favorite that caters and hosts private events too.

The bar

Fast, friendly, consistent. We're not a mixology spot. We're a volume spot that cares about getting the same drink right every time. Shaken classics, frozen cocktails, small-production wines, light local beer, a deep no-and-low list.

Who we're hiring

Someone obsessed with guests. Someone who looks for ways to make people's days better. Who moves with urgency, talks to everyone at the bar like they belong there and doesn't take themselves too seriously.

The job

• Greet every guest at the rail inside 10 seconds
• Same drink Tuesday as Saturday. Specs are specs.
• Fire service-well tickets in order. The floor is waiting.
• Involved with prep and ordering. Keep the bar ahead, fresh and ready.
• Keep the bar top, wells, sinks and frozen machines clean and stocked
• Card anyone under 30. MOD before cutting anyone off.
• Label and date everything in the fridge
• Help the next shift. Don't leave problems.
• Communicate with the service team and manager on duty. Huddle up. Drive service and sales.

The schedule

Nights and weekends. Full time preferred, minimum 4 shifts per week.
