Job summary

The Minikahda Club is seeking a Bartender seasonal position to maintain the bar, take drink orders for members and guests, and assist the Food and Beverage team.

Qualified candidates bring 1–2 years of bartending experience, high school diploma, and a passion for service, wine knowledge, and etiquette. This role requires fast, accurate service and the ability to work outdoors in summer months.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bartending experience (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Mixes and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to order.
• Prepare drinks for food servers and serve directly to members and guests.
• May be required to serve meals, bus or set tables if necessary.
• Maintain the bar area in clean and sanitary condition, keeping it stocked with glassware, product, and garnishes.
• Clean and maintain bar equipment daily and as directed (espresso machine, blender, etc.).
• Report any broken or damaged equipment to the Bar Manager or Manager on Duty.
• Adhere to local and national liquor laws.
• Assist Bar Manager in taking inventory.
• Secure the bar and cash bank at the beginning and end of shift for the next scheduled bartender.
• Other duties as needed by the business.

Job Summary
