Job summary

Pau Hana Bar at Foodland Farms Pearl City is hiring bartenders. We seek high-energy, creative professionals with bar experience who can create a welcoming place for guests to enjoy high quality food and beverages.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, on-island candidates only; we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical/dental/vision insurance and 401k. This hourly position provides opportunities to grow with a locally owned company.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous bar experience preferred.
• Experience working in a high-volume food service establishment preferred.
• Must have TB Clearance.
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Bartenders assist the bar manager by keeping the bar areas neat, clean, stocked, and organized.
• They interact with guests, anticipate their food and beverage needs, take orders, and enter them into the system.
• Ensure that safety and sanitation guidelines are followed and observe the company dress code.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and uphold company policies and culture.

Bartendersmust have excellent customer service, be able to work and communicate well with others, follow directions and department/company standard operating procedures. Bartenders assist the bar manager by keeping the bar areas neat, clean, stocked, and organized. They interact with guests, anticipate their food & beverage needs, take their orders, enter orders into the system, as well as ensure that safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.Bartendersmust maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance, and observe the company dress code. Bar staff must also abide by all company policies, house rules and guiding principles; support the company culture, values, and mission; and maintain a positive attitude toward the work and company.
