Job summary

The Mint Gaming Hall in Franklin, KY is seeking a bartender to mix and serve drinks following specified recipes and maintain a well-stocked, clean bar area. You will need knowledge of menu items and brands, and you will manage glassware and garnishes while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Applicants should be 21+, have a preferred high school diploma or GED, and be able to obtain all required work cards and alcohol awareness certifications. Prior bartending experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous bartender experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain required work cards, alcohol awareness cards and non-gaming registration as required by the local jurisdiction.
• Internal candidates must meet the requirements outlined in the Transfer and Promotion Policy.
• Must be able to obtain and provide S.T.A.R Certification prior to start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve drinks following specified recipes.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beer, and non-alcoholic selections available within the outlet.
• Working knowledge of designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method and garnishes of each drink.
• Maintain an orderly and clean bar, including bar surface, draught area, coolers, wells, sinks, mixing materials, server area and lounge.
• Maintain product inventory and supplies including all liquors, beers, wines, mixes, garnishes, glassware, ice, and miscellaneous bar supplies throughout shift.
