C Cherokee Nation Entertainment is seeking a bartender to craft drinks, deliver high-quality service, and manage bar stations in a state-regulated environment. You will ensure safety, handle transactions, and keep a clean, welcoming area for casino guests.

The role requires ability to obtain a food handler’s card and pass alcohol awareness training, along with gaming authority licensing where applicable. This is a full-time on-site position with a focus on guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Ability to obtain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license.
• Requires standing for long periods, may lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible shifts including weekends/holidays and exposure to smoke and noise.

Job Description

As a Bartender, you'll be at the heart of our beverage operations, crafting high-quality drinks and providing outstanding service to our guests. You'll manage your bar station, ensure compliance with alcohol safety regulations, and contribute to a lively and welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a strong understanding of drink recipes, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient bar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to cocktail servers and casino guests. Adhere strictly to standardized drink recipes.
• Follow all alcohol safety standards, including checking identification to ensure minimum drinking age requirements are met and preventing over-serving guests. Provide excellent guest service to both external and internal guests.
• Ensure high-quality beverages are served. Stock supplies for the next shift, and clean, wash, and stock all glassware and bar supplies.
• Uphold cleanliness standards for your station and shared areas of responsibility. Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment ("The Big Six").
• Perform financial transactions and process guest payments for goods and services delivered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
• Ability to pass all alcohol awareness training.
• Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
• Ability to obtain a state-issued alcoholic beverage license.
• Requires standing for long periods, frequent bending and kneeling. Must be able to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a setting that includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise.
