Bodega Taqueria y Tequila is seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will prepare, mix, and service beverages for servers and guests in a speedy, efficient, friendly, and professional manner while providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a strong passion for hospitality, a charming personality, and a world-class standard of excellence. The individual reports to the General Manager or to the Assistant General Manager (AGM) in their absence.

Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the bar area by disposing of waste, cleaning glassware, and wiping down bar and preparation areas.
• Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.

Quality Control

• Monitor drink preparation, presentation, and service to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Address issues related to beverage quality promptly.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of beverages, ingredients, flavor profiles, and preparation techniques.

Customer Service

• Engage with guests warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable.
• Craft cocktails according to recipes, ensuring quality and correctness.
• Ensure minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcohol.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere with personalized service.
• Communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Listen attentively, respond appropriately, and maintain composure during busy times.
• Collaborate with all departments for smooth operations and high guest service standards.

Compliance and Safety

• Ensure compliance with health, safety regulations, and internal policies.
• Oversee alcohol safety practices and proper handling of food and beverages.
• Adhere to all alcohol service laws and regulations responsibly.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years of bartending experience.
• High professional integrity and ability to work safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to speak, read, and write English effectively.
• Proficiency in presenting information and responding to questions.
• Participation in E-Verify and compliance with safety and physical requirements.
