Job summary

Hideaway Pizza is seeking a Bartender (Server) to deliver an exceptional guest experience with strong knowledge of our menu and service standards. You will be part of a fun, professional team, serving high-quality cocktails and beverages while maintaining a clean, safe dining area.

The role requires 21+ years old status, prior bartending experience, and valid Food Handler and Alcohol licenses. A varied schedule including nights and events is expected in a dynamic guest-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Prior bartending experience required.
• Have and maintain required licenses: Food Handlers and Alcohol.
• Be able to work a varied schedule including shifts, holidays, doubles and events.
• Follow all policies and procedures in handbook and training guides.
• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with crew and managers.
• Meet physical requirements (standing, lifting, stairs, repetitive motions).

PURPOSE

The primary commitment of the Bartender (Server) is to provide an EXCEPTIONAL experience for our Guests. This experience will leave the guests craving to return soon and share their excitement (food and drink pics and selfies are preferred). Achieving this means you must embrace the Hideaway Way, excel in the Hideaway Service Standards, have superior menu knowledge, and present yourself in a professional, yet fun way.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Embrace and Internalize THE WAY.
• Fanatic execution of the Hideaway Service Standards and Steps of Service to every Guest.
• Robust understanding of Hideaway Signature items and all food and beverages offered to the Guests, as it applies to the position.
• Intense application of responsible alcohol service procedures.
• Only produce the highest quality of alcoholic beverages.
• Obsessively maintain a clean and safe environment for the Guest and Team Members.
• Vigorously protect the financial interests of the Guests, You, and Hideaway Pizza.
• Always create a FUN environment.
• Other duties as assigned to support the success of the Guest experience.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must have prior Bartending experience.
• Have and maintain required licenses: Food Handlers and Alcohol (state and county specific).
• Work a varied schedule, including shifts, days, holidays, doubles, positions, and events.
• Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook and job-specific training guides.
• Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with fellow Crew Members and Managers.
• Meet the physical requirement of the position, including standing for extended periods (up to 10 hours), walking frequently, lifting up to 40 pounds, carrying up to 25 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, climbing and descending stairs (location specific), and performing repetitive motions.
