Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a skilled bar staff member to ensure smooth nightly operations at our venue. The role focuses on accurate cash handling, knowledgeable drink preparation, and delivering exceptional guest service.

The candidate will manage supplies, know standard recipes and glassware, and maintain positive guest relations while upholding liquor liability training requirements.

Qualifications

• Familiar with all kinds of liquor, recipes, prices, glassware, and garnishes.
• Proficient cash handling and POS procedures, with accurate charging of guests.
• Able to anticipate guest needs and maintain positive guest relations.
• Must complete liquor liability training within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter.

• Handle cash accurately using MICROS or registers; manage bank procedures and tipping.

• Resolve guest complaints to ensure satisfaction.
• Receive liquor liability training within 30 days and every 2 years thereafter.

Job description

• Efficiently maintain bar supplies, including preparation of daily requisition, as necessary.
• Must be completely familiar with all the different kinds of liquor, recipes and prices of drinks, proper glassware used for each recipe, as well as garnishes needed.
• Know drink recipes, prices and type of beverages available.
• Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures to include proper discounting, MICROS system (or registers), bank procedures and tip policies. Responsible for accurately charging the guests for drinks. Responsible for accurate intake of all the monies.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times.
• Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction.
• Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter.
