Job summary

Life Time is seeking a Bartender to understand and follow alcohol serving laws while preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and assisting with food service. A clean and sanitized environment is maintained at all times.

The role covers following recipes, serving guests promptly, handling payments, restocking bar supplies, and reconciling cash at shift end. Full-time benefits are available for eligible team members, including health coverage and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years bartending experience.
• Certified to serve alcohol.
• CPR/AED certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift >20 lbs. repeatedly.
• Must be able to work in a stationary position and move around the cafe for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to prepare cocktails and drinks, including garnishes.
• Serve members and customers promptly, check IDs, handle payments, and answer questions.
• Maintain bar cleanliness and return used dishware to bar/kitchen.
• Restock liquors, wines, beers, and non-alcohol ingredients; replace beer kegs.
• Reconcile cash register at end of shift.

Job description

Position Summary

The Bartender understands and follows alcohol serving laws. They prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages while interacting with customers, taking and serving food as necessary. The Bartender maintains a clean and sanitized environment

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
• Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
• Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
• Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
• Certified to serve alcohol
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with inventory and ordering

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and pays up to $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
