Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a bartender to prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, interact with members, take orders, and serve food as needed. The role requires maintaining a clean, sanitary bar area and ensuring laws are followed.

Responsibilities include following recipes, serving customers promptly, handling payments, restocking inventory, and reconciling the cash register at shift end. CPR/AED within 30 days is required, along with a high school diploma or GED.

Position Summary

The Bartender understands and follows alcohol serving laws. They prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages while interacting with customers, taking and serving food as necessary. The Bartender maintains a clean and sanitized environment

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
• Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
• Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
• Reconciles the bar’s cash register at the end of the shift

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
• Certified to serve alcohol
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with inventory and ordering

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.50 and pays up to $18.50, based on experience and qualifications.
