Life Time Inc. in Minneapolis is seeking a Bartender to provide beverage service in our cafe, following alcohol‑serving laws and maintaining a clean, inviting bar area.

The role involves crafting cocktails and non‑alcoholic drinks, serving guests, handling payments, restocking supplies, and ensuring cash reconciliation at shift end. Requirements include a high school diploma, 1–2 years bartending experience, and CPR/AED certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes to prepare cocktails and other drinks, including garnishes.
• Serves members and customers promptly, checks ID, processes payments, answers questions.
• Maintains bar cleanliness and returns used dishware to bar/kitchen.
• Restocks liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients; replaces beer barrels.
• Reconciles the bar's cash register at end of shift.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Follows recipes in order to appropriately prepare cocktails and other drinks, including adding garnish
• Serves members and customers in a timely fashion, including checking identification, accepting payment, and answering any questions that may arise
• Maintains cleanliness by cleaning bar surface, furniture, and equipment and returning used dishware to the bar/kitchen
• Maintains supplies by re-stocking liquors, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic ingredients and replacing beer barrels
• Reconciles the bar's cash register at the end of the shift

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1 to 2 years of bartending experience
• Certified to serve alcohol
• CPR/AED certification required within the first 30 days of hire
• Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs.
• Ability to work in a stationery position and move about the Cafe for prolonged periods of time

Preferred Requirements

• Experience with inventory and ordering

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and pays up to $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
