The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional guest service. This role ensures accurate drink preparation, maintains bar cleanliness, promotes responsible alcohol service, and contributes to a welcoming and efficient bar environment.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bartending certification preferred (where applicable).

Experience

Minimum 1 year of bartending or high-volume restaurant/bar experience preferred.

Knowledge

Knowledge of drink recipes, mixology, and POS systems required.

Skills & Knowledge

Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail preparation. Understanding of responsible alcohol service and state/local regulations. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods. Strong cash-handling and basic math skills. • Process payments accurately using POS systems; handle cash and tabs responsibly.
• Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies and procedures.
• Assist with bar opening and closing duties.
• Report any equipment or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
