Job summary

The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking experienced bartenders for banquet and restaurant service. Join a team that values guest experience and professional service in a resort setting.

Responsibilities include crafting cocktails, maintaining a clean bar station, handling cash and orders, upselling menu items, and complying with state laws. Standing 8–10 hours shifts, friendly, team-oriented applicants encouraged.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or related industry experience
• Previous experience in high-volume, fine dining bar-tending or banquet bar-tending
• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required

• Other reasonable duties as assigned

We are looking to add Bartenders to our team. Looking for Banquet Bartender and Bartenders for our restaurants. Essential Functions:

• Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
• Follow proper cash handling procedures
• Complete orders for beverages and supplies
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive display
• Maintain a clean and neat work area
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
• Wash bar glasses/dishes
• Checks ID for all guests and complies with state and federal laws
• Demonstrates effective sales techniques to up-sell food and beverage products
• Response to questions and special requests
• Provides information and directions
• Other reasonable duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Hospitality or related industry experience

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for 8-10 hours shifts
• Pulling, pushing, carrying boxes up to 25 lbs.
