Job summary

EOS Hospitality LLC is hiring a Bartender for AC Hotel Tuscaloosa Downtown in Tuscaloosa, AL. The role involves preparing and serving beverages and/or food, delivering outstanding guest service, and supporting restaurant operations in a hotel setting.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, preparing drinks to recipe standards, handling payments via POS, maintaining bar stock, and ensuring compliance with laws. Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender or in a guest-facing role.
• Knowledge of alcoholic beverage laws and responsible service.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Mix, garnish, and present beverages according to recipes and portion control.
• Check IDs and serve alcohol in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Accurately total, process, and collect payments using the POS system and related methods.
• Stock and maintain the bar including beverages, garnishes, glassware, and supplies.
• Ensure beverage quality by cutting, storing, and monitoring perishables.
• Respond professionally to inebriated guests as needed.

Description

As a Bartender, you would be responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages and/or food to guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.


• Mix, garnish, and present beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.


• Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal, state, local and company laws and regulations.


• Accurately total, process and collect payments from guests to include, but not limited to, using the point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates, cards and vouchers.


• Stock and maintain the bar to include, but not limited to, beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce.


• Cut, store and ensure product quality of all beverage-related perishables.


• Respond professionally to inebriated guests, as needed.
