Description

Eastern Sports Management is currently accepting applications for a Bartender position at the Titan Sports & Performance Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bartenders are responsible for crafting a variety of beverages, ensuring a satisfying customer experience through their knowledge of drink recipes, mixology techniques, and flavor profiles. They also provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, suggesting drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with diverse customers and managing various situations. Responsibilities include managing the bar area, maintaining cleanliness, organizing supplies, and handling cash transactions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience with food and beverages.
• Create a warm, fun environment for guests and team members.
• Greet guests promptly and courteously.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items and answer related questions.
• Accurately take and process food and drink orders.
• Ensure proper garnishing and delivery of food and drinks.
• Bus and reset tables as needed.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction, maintain drink levels, and respond to needs.
• Follow alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication.
• Monitor and respond appropriately to patron intoxication levels.
• Identify and de-escalate situations with belligerent customers.
• Keep supervisor informed of issues.
• Follow recipes to ensure consistency and control costs.
• Enter orders into POS accurately and efficiently.
• Handle all sales transactions responsibly.
• Maintain responsibility for personal bank and financial accuracy.
• Complete station side work and opening/closing duties timely.
• Assist in party setup and breakdown.
• Support team members as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to sanitation standards.
• Keep the station clean and organized.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of bartending experience.
• Minimum age of 21 years.
• Valid Alcohol Certification ABLE license.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Friendly demeanor with frequent smiling.
• Effective communication skills to generate enthusiasm about the Titan experience.
• Ability to read and communicate in English.
• Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment.
• Teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling financial transactions.
• Ability to read and write handwritten notes.

Physical Demands

• Constant standing (>66%).
• Rare sitting.
• Occasional walking/running.
