Job Duties

• Prepare alcohol or non‑alcohol beverages
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Present Bar Menu to guest
• Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Assist in taking inventory and monitoring supplies to ensure bar is well stocked
• Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register
• Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed
• Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Adherence to all stated OHSA, TTB, and MLCC laws, procedures and practices
• Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of work areas
• Other general duties and actives as directed from time to time
• Receive, store, and organize shipments
• Shifts include - Summer Cabanas, Summer Patio, Lunch Shifts, Winter Cabanas, and Artisan Dinner Service (main bar)

Required experience/Requirements

• Proven working experience as a bartender
• Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
