Job summary

Austin Hilton Garden Inn is hiring a Bartender to serve beverages and create a welcoming guest experience in the lobby bar. You will inform guests of specials, take orders, monitor your section, and ensure clean, organized bar and dining areas in accordance with state regulations.

Requirements include 0–1+ year in customer service and bartending, a passion for hospitality, being 21+, and eligibility for alcohol service certification.

Qualifications

• 0 – 1+ year of customer service experience
• 0 – 1+ year of similar bartending experience
• Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience
• 21 years of Age or older
• Eligible to obtain alcohol serving certification

Responsibilities

• Inform guests of daily specials and takes beverage order
• Monitor tables in assigned section ensuring all patrons are served
• Removes empty or dirty glasses and bottles, disposes properly of bottles and washes glasses in glass washer
• Ensure tables are cleaned for each patron
• Ensure ashtrays are at applicable tables
• Maintain bar station by keeping area tidy and stock bar by placing orders as needed
• Compute bill and accept payments
• Complete bar inventory log
• Ensure tips are reported properly for tax processing
• All other duties as assigned
